National Midwifery Institute offers open enrollment year-round; applicants may apply and enroll at any time.
The enrollment process is self-paced; initial applications are held indefinitely and enrollment may be completed in a matter of days or months, depending on the applicant’s preference.
Before you Submit an Application
Read our Application Guide BEFORE you apply.
Request Official Transcripts or degree equivalency documents be sent directly to the NMI office from the school issuing the transcript.
Gather all documentation supporting a foundational understanding of Midwifery.
Students applying for transfer credit and/or advanced placement:
gather course descriptions and syllabi for coursework you would like reviewed for transfer credit.
gather any relevant training, licenses, or course completion certifications you would like evaluated for academic experience (such as ICBLC certificate).
gather clinical experience documentation - must include signature confirmation from a qualified preceptor.
