Application, Fees, Filing Structure, and Timeline for the CML Challenge Program
Applicants have one year from date of application to complete the CML Challenge Program, including payment of all fees, remediation (academic and clinical) necessary to meet CML Challenge Program requirements, and completion of the CML Challenge Written Examination (extensions may be granted if exam retakes are necessary). Fees may be paid online.
Candidates interested in the CA Challenge mechanism should submit the CA Challenge Application and Initial Forms to nmioffice@nationalmidwiferyinstitute.com along with the first of three payments outlined below.
Your application will not be processed until payment is received.
Fee Structure
Applicants agree to make fee payments at the initiation of each step of the CML Challenge Application process. All CML Challenge fees are non-refundable. CML Challenge fees total $7,500, to be paid as follows:
$2,500 paid with submission of the following NMI CML Challenge forms (please refer to forms for completion instructions):
Midwife-Applicant NARM Records Release (if applicable)
Academic Transcripts
$3,000 paid with submission of the following NMI CML Challenge forms (provided to applicant upon completion of Step 1 payment):
Academic Source Documents
Gap Analysis Chart of Completed Academic Study (including annotated academic source documents)
Applicant’s Experience for Verification
Physician Verifier Information and Agreement
Midwife Verifier Information and Agreement
$2,000 paid to register for the NMI CML Challenge Written Examination. Upon receipt of payment, CML Challenge Administrator will email midwife-applicant a confirmation, including next exam date and location details.
